The Devil card warns of the entrapment inherent in living, and advises us to use the world and not be used by it; to use every experience as an eye-opener (the third as well as the two!) and thus gain wisdom, experience's greatest reward. This is the fully realized goal of Capricorn's ambition.

Capricorn and 2007, succinctly:
Now through August, emphasis is on taxes, sexuality, property -- things you hold in common with business and marriage partners -- and the necessity to transform these, as well as yourself. You'll tend to think this is easy, but just when you're feeling it's a breeze, you'll find it's a tornado. Keep your practical mind alert to the changing conditions of your situation and adjust your plans gracefully. By the end of the year, reality begins to get smoother. The emphasis then is on how wise you are and how much wiser you can get by studying, going abroad, getting in touch with your philosophical aspect; maybe even publishing some of your more sagacious thoughts.
You'll be in the mood to take risky chances all through 2007, however. The desire to dance to a different drummer runs like fire through your soul. Opportunities to do so pop up out of the blue. If you're too Capricornially conservative, however, you'll miss the jet.
2007 is a year for you to learn and communicate, maybe even to reconnect with a sibling; to search your depths for visions not yet accomplished, and set about manifesting them.
